Another year has come and almost gone. It’s amazing how quickly ministry moves through a year. It seems like just a little bit ago we were at sunny Lake Placid enjoying a beautiful summer. Now here we are getting ready for another year of ministry in 2018.
We had some exciting times as we celebrated the 40th Anniversary of our first Pow-Wow this year. This is our 55th year of Royal Rangers in the Indiana District, and we look forward to what God has in store for us over the next 55 years!
We are excited with what is happening this year at Lake Placid. We have had $5,000 dollars worth of custom cabinetry donated for the Pierce Pavilion (back in the ranger area at Lake Placid. We have also had $10,000 worth of sheet metal donated for the exterior of the building. We will be having machinery come in this winter/early spring to revamp the rifle range, and to prepare a building pad for the pavilion. If you have questions of what your church or men’s group could do to help us minister to more young men in Indiana through this ministry, please let me know. Our goal is to make the ranger area a fun place that churches, men’s groups, and ranger outposts can come enjoy the beauty of creation, and have protection from the weather too. If you have questions about the Nehemiah Project, contact Mike Holbrook at firstname.lastname@example.org

It has been my privilege to serve this district as the Indiana Royal Ranger Director for the last 5 years. While it is hard to believe that five years has gone by already, I am excited by what I see happening around us. Ranger Leaders, and boys, excited about the journey they are on…while following their Savior. Continue to fight the good fight of faith Indiana Rangers. May you have a Merry Christmas, and wonderful New Year, as we follow our Savior, and His call.
